Just plug in, no soldering. Even laypersons can install and remove the PR5.

A (replacement) sports air filter should be installed in order to reduce soot emissions and to be able to call up the full performance.

New on the 5th generation of the tried and tested power rail:

• Potted automotive connectors and waterproof, plastic-potted housing
• for all JTD(m) engines (also with Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) / soot particle filter)
• boost pressure adjustment
  The bridge connector, available as an option, can be plugged into the Powerrail cable harness instead of the additional control unit. This means that the factory setup can also be used without time-consuming disassembly of the Powerrail wiring harness.
